What's New on the Mall This Summer

The summer of 2023 is in full swing and the Mall has been buzzing! Visitors are enjoying our unique selection of shops, boutiques, restaurants, boutiques, ice cream parlors, sweet shops, galleries, activities, and more. As with every year, some businesses on the Mall do change, and this year is no different. This blog will explore some of the new businesses that have opened on the Mall, as well as other new things in the heart of Cape May.

For years, folks have enjoyed the incredibly fresh and delicious food in the small historic yellow building of Louisa's Cafe. Now, those favorites are available for take out! The menu is all regional fare — fish caught from the Atlantic Ocean and Delaware Bay, plus vegetables, fruits, herbs from West Cape May’s Beach Plum Farm, augmented by produce from other New Jersey farms. Personalized Bricks


Strolling the Washington Street Mall has long been a great and memorable experience for tens of thousands of Cape May visitors and locals alike. Now, you can engrave those memories into one of the Mall's bricks! Personalize a brick with custom text, such as references to family, friends, Cape May vacations, memorials, shout-outs, and more. You can even add clip art or a custom logo. All proceeds will be used to enhance and maintain the uniqueness of the Mall. The first round of bricks in this ongoing project have been installed on Hill Walk, with another installation coming soon. Learn more here.
